This mug was lovingly handmade by me on the potter's wheel from black clay. The cocoa bean was worked in by hand. The inside of the mug is glazed with Agnihotra ash glaze and the outside with a light glaze with golden effects. The flower of life on the inside of the base of the mug and the Agnihotra-Ash is a pleasure to drink from.
The mug is very suitable for traditional cocoa ceremonies.
The Agnihotra ash is contained in the clay and also inside the glaze. The ash glaze contains no chemical additives and is therefore completely natural. This ash changes the Crystals of the drinks in the cup into living hexagonal structures (according to Masaru Emoto) makes them easier for the body to utilize. The ash is even said to help neutralize harmful substances by transforming them.
According to various reports, the drinks taste more intense and pleasant.
The flower of life inside symbolizes the female part of creation.
For the Mayans, cocoa was a sacred food and they used it in religious ceremonies and rituals. For them, the cacao tree was a symbol of life and fertility.
The mug is ideal for cocoa ceremonies.
The mug holds approx. 220 ml, is 7 cm high and has a diameter of approx. 8.5 cm. It was fired at 1245 degrees and is therefore suitable for the dishwasher.
If the mug is not in stock, a new one will be made for you in the same style when you order. As it is handmade, there may be small differences in appearance or the shape may vary slightly.
